Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer is an Indian politician and member of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) who hails from the Punjab state. He has been serving as a Member of Parliament of Sangrur constituency since 2024. Prior to this, he was a member of Barnala Assembly constituency of Punjab Legislative Assembly from 2017 to 2024 and also worked as a Cabinet Minister in the Punjab Government. Before his entry into politics, he was an engineer and participated in the India Against Corruption campaign.
