Jasvir Singh Garhi

Jasvir Singh Garhi is an Indian politician. After parting ways with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), he was welcomed into the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on January 1, 2025, by Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann.

In the 2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly, BSP fielded Jasvir as a candidate from the Phagwara assembly seat.  In 2024, he contested in the Lok Sabha Elections  from Ananada Sahib constituency seat on a BSP ticket. 

Jasvir is the current Chairman of the Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes. He is Former President of the Bahujan Samaj Party’s Punjab state unit.

Hailing from Garhi Kanugoan Village of Tehsil Balachaur in the Shaheed Bhagat Singh (SBS) Nagar district of Punjab, Jasvir completed his Master’s degree in Public Administration from Allahabad Agriculture Institute in 2014.
