Manjit Singh Alias also known as “Suba Singh”, is an Indian politician from Punjab. Currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly from the Jaitu Constituency . He represents Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and comes from a prominent political family, being the son of late senior SAD leader, Gurdev Singh Badal. He has deep roots in the political and social structure of Faridkot region.
Manjit Singh Alias Suba Singh completed his Graduation in B.A from Punjab University in 1985.
Manjit Singh is a member of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and contested his election in 2022 where he lost to Amolak Singh of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by a margin of 32,789 votes.
His father’s name is Gurdev Singh Badal who was also a politician before and Spouse name is Paramjit Singh, she is a housewife. He has three children. Manjit Singh is an Agriculturalist by profession. He holds assets of Rs 3,27,81,650 (3cr+) and liabilities of Rs 21,15,580 (21 lakhs).
He has charges related to Mischief by injury to Public road, Bridge etc.
