Zafar Alam is a politician from Uttar Pradesh, and a senior leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP). Zafar won a seat in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the constituency of Aligarh in the year 2012 through the Assembly elections. In 2017 and 2022, he contested again for the seat from Aligarh and was second in 2022. He is a businessman and has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.
